Finding local activities so that I can take a break

Caring for a loved one can take up a lot of your time, but it is really important that you are able to take a break from your caring role, rest, enjoy yourself and experience freedom from your family situation.

There are lots of things to do in North Tyneside.

Below are links to some of the activities that you can access locally to take a break from your caring role.

If you feel unable to step away from your caring role to take time for yourself, you may need to talk to someone who understands your situation. North Tyneside Carers’ Centre has a team of experienced and specialist staff who you can talk to.
